Being the 10th Hunt this year to raise funds for an organization that is
providing FREE palliative and hospice care for Penang folk, it was a pleasure to
draft out the technical details after 3 lost years.
As usual, there had to be 2
hunts running parallel - one being a walk hunt ( with teams of 2 ) and the other
being a motor hunt ( with teams of 4 ).
There had to be activities which teams
had to participate in before they dispersed for their hunts.
This year's theme
was SHARE and CARE.
The Committee responsible for the organizing of the hunt
started meeting in October of '22. Setia Spice agreed to host the Hunt
Activities for free as they did 4 years ago.
To keep costs down, it was agreed
to use the basketball court at an Mppp recreation ground behind Olive Garden
Hotel as the finishing point where lunch packets would be served.
The funds
raised exceeded expectations and more than 360 hunters took part.
